Cartessa Aesthetics, the company that brings Onda Pro to the United States, published a practice spotlight about our clinic. The short version: we launched Onda Pro in San Gabriel, got booked solid within weeks, and bought a second device six weeks later because we could not keep up with demand. We are now the only medspa in the country running two. Here is the whole story.
What actually happened
We launched one Onda Pro. Demand was immediate and it did not slow down. Six weeks later we bought a second machine, purely so patients across Los Angeles would not have to wait weeks for an appointment. In the first two months, our team performed more than 300 Onda Pro treatments.
That is not a number we expected. Our pre-launch promotion response alone told us something real was happening. Patients in the San Gabriel Valley had been waiting for this treatment without knowing its name yet.
Onda Pro at Eve, by the numbers
- 300+ treatments performed in the first two months
- 2 devices, making us the only practice in the United States with a pair
- 1 of only 4 locations in Southern California offering Onda Pro
- 6 weeks between our first device and our second
Why we chose Onda Pro in the first place
We considered several other body contouring systems over the years. None delivered the combination of results, comfort, and patient experience we were looking for. Onda already had a strong reputation across Asia and Europe well before it reached the US market, which mattered to us and to the patients we serve.
Onda Pro earned a yes because it does two jobs well instead of one job adequately, and because our own team tested it before a single patient did. I flew out and had the treatment done on myself. I do that with every new technology we bring into the clinic. If I am not willing to sit in the chair, I am not willing to put a patient in it. After that session, the decision was easy.
What makes it different from other body treatments
Most body devices are built to solve one problem. Onda Pro addresses cellulite, skin tightening and overall contouring in the same session, which makes it unusually versatile, and the experience itself is comfortable enough that patients describe it as relaxing rather than something to endure.
It runs on a technology called Coolwaves, a specific microwave frequency that passes through the surface of the skin and does its work in the fat layer underneath. In plain terms, that is why it feels like deep warmth rather than heat on your skin, and why there is little to no downtime. Patients come in on a lunch break and go back to work.
Every session includes a lymphatic drainage massage
This is the part no one else in Los Angeles is doing, and it is the part patients talk about most. Every Onda Pro session at Eve includes a lymphatic drainage massage, at no extra charge, built into the appointment as standard.
The massage supports circulation and flushing after treatment, which is exactly what you want the body doing in the hours afterward. It also changes the character of the visit. You are not processed through a machine and sent home. You leave feeling like you had a treatment, not a procedure.
Who we recommend it to
Onda Pro is not a weight loss treatment, and we say that clearly before anyone books. It is for people near their goal who want to refine what diet and exercise did not reach.
Two groups come to us most often. The first is patients finishing a GLP-1 weight loss journey, which we also offer at Eve, who have hit their target and want to address the stubborn areas that stayed behind. Onda Pro is a strong next step for contour and smoothness once the weight itself is handled.
The second is postpartum patients working on shape, texture, or the fat changes that follow pregnancy. This group in particular has been underserved in the San Gabriel Valley, and the response from them has been the most emotional part of the launch for our team.
What patients are seeing
Results are showing up faster than we anticipated, with visible change after individual sessions rather than only at the end of a series. Many patients see between 1 and 5 centimeters of circumferential reduction, depending on the area treated and how their body responds.
We have also had no complaints about bounce-back, which is the concern we hear most often from people who have tried other contouring treatments elsewhere. The before and after photography Cartessa published in the spotlight is all from our own patients here in San Gabriel, documented after the first, second, and third sessions.
Individual results vary, and the number of sessions you need depends on your body and your goal. That is a consultation conversation, not a webpage promise.
Why this matters if you are in Los Angeles
Onda Pro is still available at only a small number of practices nationally, and just few locations across Southern California. If you live in the greater LA area and want this treatment, your options are genuinely limited, which is the reason we bought the second device.
Patients drive to us from Pasadena, Arcadia, Alhambra, Temple City, Monterey Park, and San Marino, and we are open seven days a week from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm to make that drive worth planning around. We also care for patients in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Bringing in a treatment that feels elevated and genuinely aligned with our approach to beauty and wellness has been the most rewarding part of this launch. The Cartessa feature was a nice surprise. The patients walking back in for their second and third sessions are the actual result.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to reach my goal weight before starting Onda Pro?
Ideally yes. Onda Pro refines contour rather than reducing overall weight, so it works best once you are at or near a stable weight. Many of our patients start after finishing a GLP-1 program, using Onda Pro for the stubborn areas that stayed behind.
What areas can Onda Pro treat?
Onda Pro treats the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, and buttocks, along with the submental area under the chin. Different handpieces are used for different depths, so several areas can often be addressed within the same appointment.
Is there any downtime after Onda Pro?
No. Onda Pro requires no downtime. The treated area may feel warm or slightly tender for a short time, similar to after a deep massage. Patients typically return to work, exercise, and normal activity the same day.
Can I book Onda Pro quickly, or is there a wait?
Usually within days. Waits were long after our launch, which is exactly why we added a second device six weeks later. With two machines running seven days a week from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, we can typically accommodate new patients quickly.
Where can I get Onda Pro in Los Angeles?
Onda Pro is offered at only few locations in Southern California. Eve Aesthetics & Longevity in San Gabriel is one of them, and is the only practice in the country with two devices, serving patients across the greater Los Angeles area.
Is the lymphatic drainage massage really included?
Yes. Every Onda Pro session at Eve includes a lymphatic drainage massage at no additional cost. It supports circulation and flushing after treatment and is built into the standard appointment.
Come see what the fuss is about
Consultations are complimentary and include a free Aura 3D imaging scan, so you can see your own contour analyzed before deciding anything. With two devices running seven days a week, we can usually get you in quickly.
Individual results vary. Onda Pro is not a weight loss treatment. Treatment plans are determined during consultation with our medical team.
